The English language contains a rich array of slang words and phrases. Figures of speech such as jargon and slang are frequently used by speakers of all nationalities. The terms and phrases that are used depend on the demographics (age, gender, occupation, social status, etc.) of the people who use them and the context in which people use these terms. It is important to remember that slang is not bad grammar so there is no need to discourage it. We also realize that some part if not all of this jargon is used worldwide which to me is amazing to think that no matter where we are in the world a little part of home is always with us.
